One of the most appealing charms of Persian cat is definitely its smooth and long fur. Unfortunately, its fur will not stay smooth all the time. As its fur grows longer, along with the activity the cat does, its fur will be tangled. If you keep it that way and don’t untangle it immediately, the fur will be matted and it will be hard to clean the skin underneath. Not only the fur will be less beautiful, your cat will also be prone to skin diseases.

To prevent this from happening, you need to start brushing the cat’s hair from when it was still a kitten. Make the activity seems playful so the cat will be happy instead of being intimidated with the brush.

Don’t forget to choose a good metal brush with wide-spaced teeth. It is the best type of brush for Persian cat’s fur. Brush the fur every day following the growth direction of the fur. Do this twice a day when the shedding season is coming.

Clean Its Nose
